STARMAKER RECORDS WAS FORMED IN 1963 BY FOUNDER & PRESIDENT EDDIE FAST EDDIE KING IN DETROIT, MI. 1974 CURTIS DAVIS OF CLEVELAND OHIO JOINED STARMAKER RECORDS AS A STUDIO MUSICIAN AND WORKED WITH EDDIE KING UNTIL THE COMPANY RELOCATED TO LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA IN 1976 OPENING OFFICES IN HOLLYWOOD. CURTIS DAVIS BECAME PRESIDENT OF STARMAKER RECORDS IN 1978. THE COMPANY MOVED TO LAS VEGAS, NEVADA IN 1990. THE COMPANY INCORPORATED IN THE STATE OF NEVADA UNDER THE PARENT NAME " CURCARLIN ENTERTAINMENT GROUP/ HEADED BY CURTIS DAVIS AND CAROLYN WALDEN. The original Radio version of the Black Gold song itself was composed and produced by Las Vegas based Carolyn Walden From Curcarlin Entertainment Group/ Starmaker Records, with vocals By Indie Artist Carolyn Walden & Ras Kronik. The Kids Peace song " Haven Of Love " features Lynn Smith. Carolyns inspiration for the song was her daughter Nina Edwards who directs the Las Vegas office of Kids Peace. And a long time supporter of helping her community. The Hip-Hop version " Don't Give UP " was written & produced by Born Divine featuring " Amadaye " & Dead Sirus

Born as Darnell Brockington, AKA Nell Vicious, AKA Rocwell, a Baltimore native began his career in entertainment in 2001 for an audition with Tonya Blount. Blount Management that earned him a spot in a talent showcase. The showcase later lead Born Divine a chance to meet one of the owners of Prestige Entertainment. Later in 2002, Born Divine was flown to Chicago where he recorded with some of Chi-Towns heavy hitters on the under ground. The song was produced by Uncrowned City Records. He then returned to Baltimore recording with local Artists. Then, he featured on the album of an R&B artist by the name of C.R. Born Divine performed with this artist under the umbrella of his (C.R.) small production company, Beats of Nature, at the Latin Palace (Baltimore, MD). He even had the pleasure of doing some song writing for this artist and managed to establish a writing and production deal with the well-known R&B group, Profit Jones under Armor-Getting Entertainment. Born Devine was still on the path of independence. Mr. Vicious featured on the album of another local, independent, R&B artist by the name of Genesis Daze the CEO of Alpha World Entertainment. It was then in 2004 that Born Divine increased his open-mic performances in order to help enhance his live performances, all the while, still working on his solo album. In the process, he also performed at the Belvedere Hotel (Baltimore, MD). The year 2005 sparked another era in Mr. Vicious music career. His song concepts would now be portrayed as conscious hip-hop, which also meant a new and innovative identity Born Divine. Born Divine signified a conscience effort to take responsibility for the words that are relayed to the masses.
Leo, a new Hip Hop/R&B Artist. Im a 22 years old singer/songwriter from Italy and live in Italy but I lived in the USA for a while so I speak both languages. I always love singing since I was 3 years old but only in the summer 2006 it became my goal to reach. I started recording and in October 2007 I recorded some of my songs in Nashville in the RCAs Studios. After that experience I started working on my DGM Album and in summer 2009 I finished it. My DGM Album is a mix of Hip Hop/R&B sound but in all the songs there is one thing that can never change and that thing is the heart, the strength and the soul I put in all the songs I do. These are 8 songs Written Performed by me. Thanks to Curtis Davis of Starmaker Records I am being introduced to the United States Audience.
